It’s not that interesting. I’m 34, married, with one kid. I currently live in California. I like the avocados but not the weather, the politics but not the prices. I like both coffee and beer, and I hate papaya and writing bios.

Writing

I write mostly fantasy, with a bit of science fiction thrown in, and the occasional horror story. I prefer to write stories featuring female main characters. My favorite tropes are knights and dragons for fantasy, time travel for science fiction, and zombies for horror. Ultimately, I make no promises about anybody getting out alive.

Hobbies

When I’m not writing, I like to read. My favorite genres are science fiction, fantasy, and nonfiction (science and history.) I like text-based and tabletop RPGs and board games. I hope to one day design these types of games. I like cooking and food, and cooking for people who like food. I’ve tried my hand at brewing. It went pretty well. Nothing exploded.
